The Business Analyst is the primary liaison between business and technical disciplines. He or she gathers business requirements, translates them into IT solutions, creates functional specifications and supports developers and testers. 
Currently we are initiating change releases to implement Requests for Changes in the Communications and Career site area, for which we need a well-fitting Senior Business Consultant.

The Business Analyst discusses relevant trends and opportunities in e-commerce and internet technologies with business partners. He or she is also sparring partner for the Application Architect. 

Knowledge, experience and skills:
• At least 5 years experience as a Business Analyst 
• Excellent knowledge of the latest Internet related technologies and e-Commerce including social media and web development 
• Knowledge of financial markets e.g. equity derivatives, FX/MM products is a pre 
• Expert sparring partner for the business 
• Experience in gathering requirements, writing functional use cases and developing wireframes 
• Experience with Agile, RUP methodologies 
• Basic knowledge of PRINCE II Project Management method 
• Fluent Dutch and English 
• Good presentation skills

Education:
HBO/WO (NL) or College (UK), preferably in Business, Economics and/or Information Technology.
